[Application] The whetstone is specially designed for sharpening sickles.

[Types of Whetstone & how to choose] 1. When the knife is nicked: Use a coarse stone (#80 - #400). 2. When the knife is dulled: Use a medium stone (#700 - #1200). 3. For more sharpening: Use a finishing stone (#3000 - #8000).

[How to use of Sharpening stone] 1. Soak the whetstone in water for about 3 minutes before use. 2. Stabilize the whetstone and keep the knife blade at an angle of 15-20 degrees on the stone. 3. For a single-edged knife, sharpen 90% on the surface and 10% on the back. For a double-edged knife, sharpen both sides equally. 4. After sharpening, lightly sharpen the back of the knife a few times to remove the burrs.

[Maintenance] The whetstone may become dented over time, so it is necessary to maintain it using water-resistant or abrasive paper. After use, wash the whetstone with water and dry it in a shaded area.

King Deluxe is a product developed as a grinding wheel for sharpening every knife made of special abrasive, ensuring permanent quality and lasting sharpness. The King sharpening stones have solved problems such as damage to the sharpening stone caused by the knife's point, and unbalanced or uneven hardness of the sharpening stone. With long-time experience, our artificial sharpening stone shows more sharpness than other natural sharpening stones. The product is made in Japan and conforms to the exacting standards of a skilled sushi chef, a line of culinary work where a sharp knife can make the difference between a delectable piece of fish and something altogether inedible.
